The Richardson family has been making reproduction furniture for four generations and offers exquisite, meticulously-crafted designs to the discerning buyer. Crucially, our pieces are still made entirely in the United Kingdom: our skilled craftsmen use time-honoured techniques to create furniture of the highest quality.

All of our furniture is bleached and hand-polished to achieve an aged patina.

Most edge mouldings are crossgrained solid walnut, which in time open slightly to enhance the aged appearance. At this stage, an application of soft, dark wax will give the correct antique finish. Should this authentic look not be required, straight-grain mouldings are available on request.

The Queen Anne Walnut Collection has hand-dovetailed English oak drawer-sides as standard. The Paisley range has oak drawer-sides but the drawers are dovetailed by machine rather than hand, in order to maintain a high quality appearance while keeping costs low.

All fittings are solid brass and panelled backs to cabinets are standard.

We offer veneering in cherry, yew and mahogany or alternatively we are able to pattern-match customersí own colours at no extra charge.
